In "Pups Get a Rubble", Marshall was the first pup that discovered Rubble when he was much younger and Marshall wanted to save him from the tree. In "Pups Save Christmas", When pups are called to the lookout, Marshall and Rubble slam into each other before heading to the elevator, then in the elevator, Rubble sleeps on top of Marshall's head. When Marshall hits a pole, he is okay and when Rubble arrives, he says, "You okay buddy?" and Marshall says yes but his tail was a little chilly which made Rubble laugh. In "Pups Get a Lift", Marshall was about to show Rubble where Katie and Cali were stuck, then when Marshall slips on a snowboard and flies into the air, Rubble says, "Awesome", then when Marshall was tumbling down the hill in a huge snowball, Rubble is worried and chases Marshall down to stop him. In "Pups Fight Fire", Rubble was confident that Marshall could win the fastest fire pup award and was cheering him on. In "Pups in a Fog", while the pups were setting up their camp site just in front of the lookout, Marshall and Rubble play tug of war with a pillow. 
Marshall looked worried and asked Rubble what's wrong and Rubble said he had sand in his eye.
In "Pups and the Very Big Baby", Rubble saw the baby whale reunite with it's Mom which caused him to cry. Then when Rocky and Zuma arrive to tell Ryder that there was trouble at the beach, Marshall ends up spraying Rubble again by accident in which he apologized again but Rubble looked mad. In "Pups Save the Sea Turtles", Marshall sprayed Rubble with water by accident and Rubble yelled "Woah! Turn off the water!" Marshall apologized to Rubble and Rubble mentioned his bath was yesterday. At the end of the episode, Rubble accidentally let the pumpkins fly out of his bulldozer and they were flying towards Marshall and Rubble said, "Uh-oh. 
Rubble yelled to Marshall about the pumpkins heading towards him.
In "Pups Fall Festival", pumpkins were rolling down a hill in Farmer Yumi's farm and was heading towards Marshall.
